Job Title: Diesel Mechanic – Sublime Tours USA
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced diesel mechanic to join our team at Sublime Tours USA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel engine repair and maintenance and a passion for working on large vehicles. As the diesel mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing the company’s fleet of buses and tour vehicles to ensure they are in safe and reliable working condition.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, braking systems, and other mechanical systems
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical problems using diagnostic equipment
- Inspect and test vehicles to ensure they meet safety and compliance standards
- Keep accurate and detailed records of maintenance and repair work
- Communicate with management and other team members to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance
- Follow all safety procedures and regulations
- Keep work area clean and organized
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a diesel mechanic, with experience working on large vehicles such as buses and tour vehicles
- ASE certification is a plus
- Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems and components
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals
- Experience with diagnostic equipment
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Must have own tools and experience with welding and fabrication
